We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mild & stainless steel welding and fabricating, and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding parts, components, and assemblies from raw materials according to customer specifications, and it would be useful to have experience with other materials such as Aluminium. The Fabricator/Welder must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential criteria:

• Be able to read, interpret & work from engineering drawings.
• Competent in TIG and MIG welding.
• Have a good knowledge of engineering and fabrication processes.
• Accuracy and quality assurance for solo working.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
• Approachable and friendly attitude.
• Ideal candidate will live within a reasonable commute distance.

There are ongoing opportunities to learn new skills within the business such as machining and additional engineering processes.

Our work can range from high end multi-national customer projects, to quick turn around bespoke jobs, so the ideal candidate will have the ability to manoeuvre between tasks efficiently and pro-activitely.

Any successful candidate will be subject to a 3 month trial, and 6 month probation period. NON NEGOTIABLE.
